The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jamison looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gore is fending him off so far but Jamison persists. Nope, Gore circles away and we're back to standing.
Gore tries to counter by clinching up but Jamison breaks away and moves out of range.

and Gore counters with a shoot takedown. Jamison fights it but they end up in guard.

Jamison pushes Gore off and scrambles back to his feet.

Jamison shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Gore has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Jamison has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gore gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
