Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Old Fart (ranked 23138 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinya Aoki (ranked 4132 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeremy Old Fart!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aoki cracks Old Fart with a good jab.
Aoki lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Old Fart drops his hands momentarily and Aoki takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Old Fart gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Aoki .
Aoki changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
A low kick from Aoki misses

and Old Fart counters with a takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Old Fart swings around for an armbar but Aoki sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Old Fart's guard.
Old Fart is trying to control the position but Aoki postures up.
Old Fart can't keep his opponent in guard - Aoki advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Aoki slows the pace down in half guard.
Aoki is continuing to stall.

Old Fart looks like he's trying to stand up.
Old Fart is looking for a sweep. Aoki is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Old Fart wants to stand back up but Aoki manages to pass into side control.
The referee asks Aoki politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Aoki prefers to stall for the moment though.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Old Fart is trying to improve his position.
Old Fart is working hard here to advance position.
Old Fart is working to avoid the ground and pound but Aoki connects with a decent elbow.
Old Fart struggling a bit here.
The referee asks Aoki politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Aoki prefers to stall for the moment though.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Shinya Aoki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Old Fart avoids a kick to the body.
Old Fart takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Aoki feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Old Farts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Aoki lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Aoki lands with a nice body punch.
Old Fart on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Aoki . Aoki obviously looking to wear him down.
Old Fart takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Aoki throws a body kick that misses.
Oh Old Fart is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Old Fart shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Aoki but Aoki pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Old Fart seems to have got his legs back now.

Old Fart moves forwards but Aoki connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Aoki throws a nice outside leg kick.
Old Fart needs to keep his hands up - Aoki had a free shot at his head there.
Aoki throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Aoki wants to land a leg kick but Old Fart is out of range.
Aoki bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Old Fart's head backwards.
Aoki throws a lazy body kick

and Old Fart counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Aoki makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Aoki punishes Old Fart's body with a nice straight punch.
Aoki throws a low kick, looking for Old Fart's leg but Old Fart calmly moves out of range.
Old Fart thinks about countering with a body kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shinya Aoki dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Aoki works the jab nicely.
Aoki is looking to score with low kicks.
Old Fart misses with a takedown attempt - Aoki sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Aoki lands a jab to Old Fart's midsection.
Aoki connects with a nice looking jab.
Aoki bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Shinya Aoki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aoki scores with a decent looking hook.

Aoki drops Old Fart with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Old Fart looks back up at him and smiles so Aoki waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Aoki ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Old Fart's jaw. Old Fart's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Aoki does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Shinya Aoki !
