Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Bart Greer and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Llagostera takes a swing at Rose's ribcage but misses.
Rose shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Llagostera fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Llagostera clinches up against the cage.
Rose tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Llagostera smiles and moves away.
Llagostera stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Llagostera avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Rose tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Llagostera is able to avoid easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rose misses the body punch
and Llagostera counters with a nice uppercut.
Llagostera scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Rose looks winded!
Rose tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Llagostera has closed the distance and engaged Rose in a clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rose goes for a takedown in the clinch but Llagostera prevents it.
Tucco Llagostera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Rose.

Llagostera lands a nice uppercut.
Llagostera prevents a takedown attempt there.
Rose trying to land knees to the body.
Llagostera lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Rose backwards.
Rose jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Llagostera walks away with a smile on his face. Rose gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Rose closes the distance and clinches up with Llagostera, looking for a takedown. Rose pushes Llagostera against the cage but Llagostera circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
It looked like Llagostera wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Tucco Llagostera is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Llagostera closes the distance and clinches.
The referee is keeping an eye on Llagostera - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Llagostera looks to throw an elbow but misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Llagostera escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rose ducks right into an uppercut from Llagostera.

Rose tries to keep at a distance but Llagostera has taken the fight into the clinch.

Rose jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Llagostera walks away with a smile on his face. Rose gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Llagostera feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Rose sprawling to the canvas! Rose rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Llagostera finish him?!

Rose is rocked!

Llagostera gets a clinch.

Llagostera's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Rose seems to have recovered his senses.

Llagostera darts in and clinches Rose up against the cage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rose is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Llagostera escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rose stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Llagostera.
Rose fails to land the takedown.
Llagostera lands a really nice looking cross but Rose seems unphased.

Llagostera drops Rose with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Rose looks back up at him and smiles so Llagostera waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Rose tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Llagostera counters with a right hand to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Llagostera sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Rose's defenses. It connects perfectly with Rose's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
