Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nicolai Demikovic (ranked 6154 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Johnson (ranked 3407 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Demikovic might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Russian National Anthem. Johnson has chosen Voodoo People as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson thuds a left hand into Demikovic's body.
Johnson lands a nice shot to the body.
Nicolai Demikovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Demikovic lands with a hook. Johnson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Johnson tries to bum rush Demikovic with a series of wild strikes but Demikovic uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Demikovic tries to land a front kick but Johnson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Demikovic is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Johnson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
