PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Timur Lenk (ranked 3560 p4p, 301 weight class) and Chief Bull (ranked 3617 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Chief Bull was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bull shoots and misses
and Lenk counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Lenk dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Lenk comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Lenk throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bull stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Bull has his takedown stuffed
and Lenk counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Lenk lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Lenk.

Timur Lenk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chief Bull.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lenk, as that shot connected.

Lenk definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Bull has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

and Lenk counters with a series of strikes. Bull will be more careful next time no doubt.

Lenk lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Bull takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Bull seems to have recovered his senses.

Lenk stalks Bull and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bull's face. Bull staggers backwards, shaken.

Bull is trying desperately to land a takedown but Lenk is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Bull.

Lenk lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Bull falls backwards - clearly groggy! Lenk dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
