Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elver Galarga (ranked 5196 p4p, 174 weight class) and Barry Long (ranked 24951 p4p, 665 weight class). Barry Long is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Galarga jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Long is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Long and Galarga has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Galarga enables Long to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Galarga manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Galarga working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Long doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Long manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Long really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Galarga. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Galarga has his foot on Long's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Long works his way back into a safe position though.

Galarga is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Long looks calm but he's in trouble here. Galarga gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Long is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Galarga lets go of the hold and Long can pop his arm back in it's socket.
