The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mbugua throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tibatong.
Mbugua lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Habakuk Tibatong has been cut.
Tibatong tries a head kick but it misses.
Mbugua on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Tibatong. Tibatong obviously looking to wear him down.

Mbugua moves into range and clinches up with Tibatong.
Mbugua lands a hook that snaps the head of Tibatong backwards.

Mbugua manages to break the clinch.
Tibatong throws a nice looking combination but Mbugua bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Tibatong tries to clinch but Mbugua is having none of it.

and Mbugua counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Tibatong is still on wobbly legs! Can Mbugua finish him?
Mbugua lands a hook that stumbles Tibatong back into the cage. Mbugua follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Tibatong to the canvas! Mbugua pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Tibatong has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
