Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Denker closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Puckett to the mat! Puckett manages to get full guard.
Puckett is trying to control the position but Denker postures up.
Denker not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Denker wants to get up but he can't break Puckett's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Puckett could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Denker slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Denker would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Denker wants to control from the top but Puckett keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Denker wants to stand but Puckett has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Denker gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Puckett to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Puckett won't allow Denker to sweep him here.

Puckett is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Denker has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Puckett is looking to defend but Denker has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Puckett! Denker pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Puckett taps out and this one is all over!
