Wangler kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Clash - I Fought The Law. Steve has chosen XXXTENTACION - Look At Me as his entrance music. Mark Steve has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Bobby Wangler's chin.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bobby Wangler!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Steve!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steve rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Wangler connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Wangler slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

A jab-cross combination lands for Wangler and sends Steve crashing to the mat! Wangler follows him down to the mat - Steve regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!


Steve is rocked!


It looks like Mark Steve has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Steve holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Steve is still in real trouble! Can Wangler finish him?
Wangler tries to pass to full mount but Steve defends it.

Steve seems to have recovered his senses.
Wangler thows a huge punch but Steve dodges it nicely.
Steve really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wangler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Steve is staying active underneath Wangler, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Wangler thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Steve's head.
Wangler perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Wangler is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Wangler goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Steve has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Wangler but great work by Steve.

Wangler tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Steve wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wangler is looking for a sweep.

Wangler might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Wangler tries to buck Steve off but Steve is having none of it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Wangler is looking to reverse the position.
Wangler has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Wangler ducks under a wild hook from Steve.
Wangler throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Steve lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Steve takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Steve is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Wangler with a body shot.
Bobby Wangler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wangler lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Wangler's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Wangler scores with a hook to the body. Steve takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Wangler tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Steve swivels and escapes.
Steve takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Wangler scores with a sloppy right hand. Steve should have avoided that one.
Wangler's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Steve connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Wangler scrambles back to his feet.
Wangler throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Steve lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Wangler falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
