The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Silva.
Silva throws a head kick that misses.
Lynch wants to clinch up but Silva keeps it at a distance.

Lynch swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Silva uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lynch.
Lynch looks to land a combination but Silva avoids it well.
Lynch catches Silva with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Silva displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lynch throws out the jab.

Lynch throws a shot from downtown. Silva moves away and avoids it.
Silva shoots in for a double leg but Lynch sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lynch fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Silva shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Lynch feints and then cracks Silva's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Silva down.
Lynch sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Silva moves away from the strike by Lynch.

Lynch misses with a looping right.

Lynch throws a jab but it's blocked by Silva.

and Silva makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Lynch really felt that one!
Lynch is breathing heavily.
The fighters circle, before Silva throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Lynch's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Silva lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
