Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Floyd Maybetter (ranked 449 p4p, 60 weight class) and Zarko Zidane (ranked 1850 p4p, 244 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Zidane's choice of entrance music: Sharp Dressed Man. The key to victory for Floyd Maybetter has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maybetter looks to land a left hand but Zidane moved out of range nicely.
Zidane tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Zidane moves in looking to clinch but Maybetter pushes him off.
Zidane has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Maybetter is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Zidane gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Zidane takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Maybetter lands with a shot to the body.
Maybetter scores with a crisp jab that stopped Zidane in his tracks.

Maybetter feints a jab promting Zidane to slip. Maybetter then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Zidane slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

And Zidane tries to counter it with a takedown but Maybetter pushes his down on his head and steps out.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
No luck for Zidane with that takedown attempt.

Maybetter pounces like a tiger and cracks Zidane with a vicious hook! Zidane is down but not out! Maybetter follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

A determined Floyd Maybetter didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
