Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hollis Whitehead (ranked 8338 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Weller (ranked 6079 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Hollis Whitehead!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tom Weller!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Phil Schofield and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weller tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Whitehead counters with a head kick. That will keep Weller thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Weller.
Whitehead shoots and misses
letting Weller counter with a right hand.
Weller tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Whitehead defends well and Weller ends up having to push Whitehead into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Weller has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Whitehead uses from the top position.

Whitehead really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Weller does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Weller shoots in looking for a takedown. Whitehead tries to sprawl out of it but Weller keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Whitehead manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
