Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bill Bean (ranked 5067 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Wright (ranked 5812 p4p, 0 weight class). Wright has chosen Warped Mind as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bill Bean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alex Wright!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bean missing with a left hand there. Wright was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Wright goes for a double leg but Bean avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bean continues to drive forward.
Bean scores with a jab to the head.

It looks like Alex Wright has been cut.
Wright moves forwards but Bean connects with a nice, crisp jab.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wright is defended easily by Bean.
Bean lands a head shot.
Wright ducks under a wild hook from Bean.
Wright displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bean throws out the jab.
Wright replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Bean blocks it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wright tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bean sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wright somewhat.
Bill Bean has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Wright.
Bean connects with a body shot that sends Wright's belly button to the back.

Bean ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Wright walks into a jab.

Bean clinches up against the cage.
Bean prevents Wright from breaking the clinch.
Wright tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bean smiles and moves away.

Bean has managed to clinch.
Wright looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Bean gets through Wright's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Bean scores with a nice hook to the head.
Bean lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Bean lands a body shot.
Wright looks winded!
Wright's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Wright is rocked!
Bean gets through Wright's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Wright is still on wobbly legs! Can Bean finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bean lands with a short punch from the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bean tries to circle away but Wright has him pinned against the cage.
Bean throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Wrights head.

Wright breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bean comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Bean feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Wright sprawling to the canvas! Wright rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bean finish him?!
Bill Bean is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bean drops Wright with a big left hand! Wright is injured, injured bad! Bean jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

The defeated Alex Wright had this to say: 'When I sign a contract, I really want to give 180%. And if I can't give that, it's just not fair to the promotion and it's not fair to the fans and it's not fair to myself'.
