Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Long Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodney Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dong comes to the cage accompanied by I'm Going In. Moore has chosen I Stand Alone - Godsmack as his entrance music. Long Dong has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Long Dong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Rodney Moore!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dong lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Dong slips a jab and a cross from Moore.
The fighters circling - Dong throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Dong throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dong sends Moore crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Dong is motioning to the referee to let Moore up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!


Moore is rocked!
Moore looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Moore is still on wobbly legs! Can Dong finish him?
Dong throws a hook to the side of Moore's head but Moore sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dong misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Moore seems to have recovered his senses.
Dong tries to clinch up.
Dong throws a lazy right hand but Moore sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Moore shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dong as he jumps to the side.
Dong slips a jab and a cross from Moore.
Moore uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dong.

and Moore is countered with a crisp right hand from Dong that sends him to the canvas! Dong follows him to the mat into side control.
Long Dong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rodney Moore.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dong tries for a kimura but Moore is defending well.

You can see the frustration on Moore's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Dong controls the position from side control.
Moore wants to control but Dong postures up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Moore drops back looking for a leg! Dong is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dong manages to kick Moore off! Moore jumps back into Dong's guard.

Dong is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Moore's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Dong is staying active underneath Moore, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Dong changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Moore looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Dong throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Moore.

Rodney Moore is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Dong lands with an uppercut that bounces Moore off the cage and back into rage.

Dong is staying active underneath Moore, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Moore wants to work for an arm triangle but Dong is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Moore closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Long Dong is winning the standup battle so far.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Long Dong will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Moore shoots in for a double leg but Dong sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Moore closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dong circles away.
Long Dong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rodney Moore.

Moore shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Moore was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Dong is in a horrible position here. Moore smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Dong tries to control the position but Moore now has his back.
Dong breaks Moore's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Moore has his foot on Dong's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dong works his way back into a safe position though.

Dong is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Moore still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Moore has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Dong tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Moore presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Moore takes Dong's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Dong is in trouble.
Dong prevents Moore from getting a body triangle.
Moore has the hooks in. Dong is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Moore looking to break Dong's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Dong remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Moore will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Dong is in close to Moore's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Moore is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Moore is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dong doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Moore.

Long Dong is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Moore wants to control from the top but Dong keeps moving.

Moore gets to his feet - Dong follows without any prompting.
Dong stuffs the takedown attempt from Moore. Moore gets slowly back to his feet.
Moore doesn't manage to clinch there - Dong circles away.
Dong catches Moore with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Moore moves out of range of the strikes.
Rodney Moore has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Moore will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

I think Dong has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
