Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Chol-Hyon An (ranked 4341 p4p, 121 weight class) and Mike Patton (ranked 22840 p4p, 217 weight class). An kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Aegukka (DPRK national anthem). Patton comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Imperial March (L.O.D. Rage Mix) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

That was a close second round but I would say that Chol-Hyon An will probably get the nod.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Patton crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from An - the referee stops the clock and Patton gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says An. Patton manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Chol-Hyon An showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for An, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A relieved looking Chol-Hyon An thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Mike Patton was interviewed post fight and said 'He cheated! Check his gloves, they've got chloroform on them!'.
