The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franco shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Hasselhoff is looking for a triangle but Franco pushes his legs off easily.
Franco postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Franco content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Hasselhoff looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hasselhoff had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Franco defends it easily.
Franco distracts Hasselhoff with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Franco is in close to Hasselhoff's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Franco has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Franco stands up over Hasselhoff, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Hasselhoff working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Franco doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Franco manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Oh but Hasselhoff is tightening it up a little... Franco has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Franco reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Franco taps out! Nice BJJ there by Hasselhoff!
