Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Jimmy Quick (ranked 20527 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tsuyoi Kakuto (ranked 8478 p4p, 0 weight class). Kakuto has chosen Gorillaz-Dirty Harry as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Tsuyoi Kakuto!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Eliza Hachem and Steve Erwin.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Quick wants to clinch but Kakuto slips to the side

and Kakuto decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Quick's guard.

It looks like Kakuto might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Oh but Quick is tightening it up a little... Kakuto has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kakuto reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kakuto taps out! Nice BJJ there by Quick!
