Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Takayuki Hamada!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Peter Branson and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uyar closes the distance and clinches up with Hamada, looking for a takedown. Uyar pushes Hamada against the cage but Hamada circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Uyar tries to sprawl but Hamada drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Hamada thows a huge punch but Uyar dodges it nicely.
Uyar is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Hamada works his foot free and advances to mount.
Hamada misses with a head shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Uyar is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Hamada has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Uyar wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Hamada.
Hamada is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Uyar is forced to tap! Great finish!
