Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexei Chernokov (ranked 332 p4p, 50 weight class) and Ebyn Dall (ranked 378 p4p, 52 weight class). Chernokov's entrance music is Disaster strikes - Mushroom cloud. A fine choice. Dall has chosen Under the Blood as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Chernokov shoots in looking for a takedown. Dall tries to sprawl out of it but Chernokov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dall manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dall got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chernokov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dall has managed to get both his arms back between Chernokov's legs - danger averted.

Dall is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Dall looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Ebyn Dall is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Chernokov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Dall pushes down on Chernokov's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Chernokov is not content to let Dall control the position.
Dall wants to pass the guard but Chernokov is defending well.

Well Dall has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ebyn Dall decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
