The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson shoots in for a double leg but Pac sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Thompson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Pac is out of range and Thompson settles back down.
Thompson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Thompson throws a right and a left that Pac avoids nicely.
Thompson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Pac fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Thompson on the side of the head.
Thompson gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Pac.

Thompson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Thompson lands in his opponent's guard.

Pac is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Thompson frees his head nicely. Oh but Pac has switched to an armbar! Thompson is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
