Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rickson Zimmerman (ranked 4553 p4p, 499 weight class) and Evander Boston (ranked 21194 p4p, 706 weight class). Zimmerman comes to the cage accompanied by Cosmic Sand - 9h00. Evander Boston has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Evander Boston!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zimmerman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Boston tries to avoid it but Zimmerman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Boston to the ground. Boston escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Boston closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Boston escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Boston tries to bum rush Zimmerman with a series of wild strikes but Zimmerman uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Zimmerman drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Zimmerman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Boston has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Zimmerman has managed to get both his arms back between Boston's legs - danger averted.
Zimmerman trying to control the position from guard on top but Boston is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zimmerman drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Zimmerman as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Boston screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Zimmerman! Nice submission victory there!

Rickson Zimmerman really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Urban Fighter logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
