The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Otaru gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Sanchez misses with an elbow strike.
Sanchez is looking to break free of the clinch but Otaru has double underhooks.
Sanchez is trying to force a seperation but Otaru has the dominant position.
Otaru wants to break free but Sanchez has control.
Otaru wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Otaru breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sanchez lands a jab.
It looks like Ishikari Otaru has been cut.
Otaru avoids the head kick by Sanchez.
Otaru is looking to clinch but Sanchez is avoiding it.
Sanchez scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Otaru beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.
Otaru is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Otaru rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sanchez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Otaru tries to get into range but Sanchez steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Otaru! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Sanchez scores the big KO victory!
