Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Drederick Tatum (ranked 3085 p4p, 330 weight class) and Martti Maanantai (ranked 5178 p4p, 510 weight class). Martti Maanantai acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Drederick Tatum!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Martti Maanantai!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Dmitry Maklakov and Sergei Dronov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maanantai swats away the attempt to clinch by Tatum.
Tatum seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Maanantai circles away from the clinch attempt.
Tatum staying out of range there.
Maanantai tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tatum was well out of range. Poor timing from Maanantai.
Tatum is looking to counter the offense by Maanantai and move into the clinch.
Tatum scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Maanantai swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Maanantai throws a lazy right hand but Tatum sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
As Maanantai tries to get set, Tatum tries to push him back and clinch up but Maanantai manages to avoid the attempt.
Maanantai misses with an uppercut. Tatum saw that one coming.
Maanantai cracks Tatum with a good jab.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Maanantai tries to circle away but Tatum has him pinned against the cage.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Maanantai has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Tatum breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Maanantai walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Maanantai limp body while Tatum jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Drederick Tatum!
In his post fight interview, Drederick Tatum started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
