Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doctor Gonzo (ranked 4257 p4p, 165 weight class) and Theodore Van Anderson (ranked 23455 p4p, 242 weight class). Gonzo comes to the cage accompanied by One Toke Over the Line. The crowd seem to be enjoying Van Anderson's choice of entrance music: Ain't my bitch. Theodore Van Anderson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Doctor Gonzo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Theodore Van Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Anderson misses with a head kick.
Gonzo attempts a counter takedown but Van Anderson avoids it well and moves away.
Gonzo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Van Anderson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Van Anderson throws a hook but Gonzo blocks it.
Van Anderson takes one to the chin there.
Gonzo finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Van Anderson's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Gonzo falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Theodore Van Anderson!
After the fight, Theodore Van Anderson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
