Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Legend (ranked 4750 p4p, 498 weight class) and Crap McGee (ranked 19514 p4p, 673 weight class). Ryan Legend had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 157.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee looking to score a takedown here. Legend is defending well but McGee drives through and ends up in Legend's guard.
McGee slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
McGee tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no McGee has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Legend struggling a bit here.
McGee tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Legend is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
McGee works to advance to full mount. Legend defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

McGee pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.

McGee is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Legend has managed to escape the submission attempt.
McGee tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Let's hope that McGee has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

It looks like McGee might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Legend knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McGee on the ground.
McGee wants to finish this one by submission but Legend is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from McGee.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
