Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Baron Shushkev (ranked 1671 p4p, 212 weight class) and Adriano Conte (ranked 2457 p4p, 274 weight class). Conte has chosen Giuseppe Verdi - Requiem as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Shushkev.
Conte throws a series of strikes that have Shushkev backpedaling.
Shushkev misses with an uppercut.
Conte pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Shushkev throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Conte swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Shushkev misses with a left hand
and Conte counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Shushkev misses with the body kick
and Conte counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Shushkev gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Conte.
Conte blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Conte misses with a short punch on the inside.
A short body shot lands from Conte as the two fighters clinch.

Conte breaks the clinch.
Shushkev tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Conte manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Shushkev slips a straight right by Conte.
Shushkev takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Shushkev throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Conte counters with a left and a right that stings Shushkev.
Conte blocks a low kick nicely.
Nice straight punches there by Conte. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Conte.
Conte throws an overhand right that has Shushkev reeling! Conte follows up with more punches and Shushkev is out cold! This one is all over!
