The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dauterive throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rang.
Dauterive closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Dauterive tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Rang is looking for a sweep.
Dauterive in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Rang is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Dauterive throws a strike aimed at the side of Rang's head but Rang avoids it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dauterive tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dauterive has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dauterive scores with punches from side control.
Dauterive looks up at the clock and then as Rang takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Dauterive smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dauterive lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Rang! Dauterive senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Rang out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!
