Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo Aurelio (ranked 3696 p4p, 414 weight class) and Altair Brain (ranked 3558 p4p, 400 weight class). Brain comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 300 Violin kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Altair Brain enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brain connects with a good right hand that stumbles Aurelio. Aurelio circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
A nice leg kick lands there from Brain.
Aurelio swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Brain tries a low kick but Aurelio avoids it.
Marcelo Aurelio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brain plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Brain keeps Aurelio at a distance using the push kick.
Brain moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Aurelio.
Aurelio jabs Brain to the body, keeping him at a distance.
A head kick misses from Brain.

Aurelio has taken the fight to the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Brain tries a body shot but Aurelio blocks it.
Aurelio lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Brain gets through Aurelio's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Brain is leaning against Aurelio and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Aurelio breaks the clinch.
Brain ducks under a wild hook from Aurelio.
Aurelio ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Aurelio looks to land a right hand but Brain moved out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brain lands with a straight right. Aurelio didn't see that one coming.
Brain jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A shot to the body from Aurelio misses
and Brain counters with a nice leg kick.
Aurelio has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Brain checks a low kick from Aurelio.
Aurelio works the jab nicely.

It looks like Altair Brain has been cut.
Brain keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Aurelio.
Brain dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Aurelio. That did some damage!
Brain misses with a low kick.
Aurelio is looking to counter punch.
A good leg kick by Brain.
Brain attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Brain throws a shot to the body.
Aurelio tries to clinch but Brain moves away
and Brain counters with a stiff right hand.
Brain throws a jab but it's blocked by Aurelio.
Aurelio dives in and grabs Brain's left leg, looking for a takedown. Brain pushes down on Aurelio's head and hops out.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Brain tries to bum rush Aurelio with a series of wild strikes but Aurelio uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Aurelio tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brain was well out of range. Poor timing from Aurelio.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Brain lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Aurelio has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Aurelio and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Brain is looking to clinch but Aurelio is avoiding it.
A slow jab from Aurelio misses its intended target.
Aurelio throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Brain takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Brain lands a head shot.
Aurelio getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Brain misses with a hook.
Brain looks to score with a jab to the body but Aurelio is just out of range.
Brain throws a quick inside leg kick.
Aurelio throws a lazy head kick
and Brain counters with a nice low kick that buckles Aurelio's knee momentarily.
Aurelio shoots for a double leg takedown but Brain sprawls well. He's pushed Aurelio's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A nice side step and Brain releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Aurelio lands a head kick. Brain smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Brain misses with a leg kick
and Aurelio counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Brain badly! He tries to strike back but Aurelio puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Brain out cold! Oh man, Brain will never hear the end of this one!
