Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fernando Augusto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Arshavin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Augusto comes to the cage accompanied by adu-kein scherz. Fedor Arshavin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Augusto shoots in but Arshavin avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Augusto had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Arshavin is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Augusto Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Arshavin's back instead.

That was a close round but I would say that Fernando Augusto will probably get the nod.

Arshavin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Augusto decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Arshavin's guard.

Arshavin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Augusto gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
