The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viking uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Van Dorn has time to react.

It looks like Mateus Van Dorn has been cut.
Van Dorn looks to clinch
letting Viking counter with a right hand.
Viking jabs Van Dorn to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Van Dorn doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Viking counters with a straight right hand.
Viking lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
A punch lands to the side of Van Dorn 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Viking works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Viking stuns Van Dorn with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Van Dorn is breathing heavily.

Viking stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Viking has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Viking cracks Van Dorn with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Viking has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Van Dorn to stand back up!

Viking lands with a good body shot.
Oh Van Dorn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Van Dorn takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Viking connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Van Dorn momentarily.
Viking steps in with a hook that catches Van Dorn right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Viking follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Van Dorn looks absolutely devastated.
