Lawler uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Destroyer.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lawler has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

The fighters circling - Destroyer throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Lawler shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Destroyer sprawls well. Destroyer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lawler gets slowly back to his feet.

Lawler swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Destroyer sizes up Lawler with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Destroyer looks to throw the jab but Lawler is out of range.

Lawler shoots in looking for a takedown but Destroyer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lawler's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Destroyer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lawler manages to avoid it.
Destroyer displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lawler.
Destroyer lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Destroyer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lawler.
Lawler throws a big counter head kick but Destroyer avoids it with no problem.

Destroyer cracks Lawler with a right hand to the side of the head.
Lawler gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Destroyer is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Destroyer circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Lawler to the canvas! Lawler doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Destroyer keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
