Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alvin Cline (ranked 24643 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Lee (ranked 5933 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason Lee will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alvin Cline!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jason Lee!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee digs a good body shot into Cline's ribs.

and Cline counters by moving into the clinch.
Cline is working for takedown but Lee is calmly controlling the position for now.
Lee tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Cline's elbow.

Lee gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Cline regains guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee postures up in Cline's guard and throws a big left but Cline blocks it.
Lee has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

It looks like Lee might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Cline shoots in looking for a takedown but Lee manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cline's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Cline could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Lee decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Cline tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lee smiles and moves away.

Lee fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Cline checks it well.

Cline tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lee paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Lee tightens his grip and picks Cline up, before dumping him to the ground. Cline manages to land in guard.

Cline is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Lee stands up and waves to Cline to follow him.

Lee drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Lee postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Lee controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Cline closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lee circles away.

Lee is trying to trip Cline. He has hold of a leg but Cline is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Lee persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lee is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Cline might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Jason Lee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Lee drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Cline manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lee has Cline in his guard.

Lee fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cline, pushing him back against the cage.

Lee gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jason Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cline throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lee was covering up waiting for the punch and Cline finishes the takedown easily into guard.

I would just about give that final round to Jason Lee.
Well Lee has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
