Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Conor OMalley!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Phil Schofield and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rosales shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says OMalley as he avoids it easily.
OMalley looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

OMalley throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rosales was covering up waiting for the punch and OMalley finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Rosales isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. OMalley stacks Rosales on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by OMalley!
Rosales is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but OMalley is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Rosales wants to try and get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rosales is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
My spies in Cozad MMA London inform me that OMalley has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
OMalley raining down shots from the mount!
Rosales knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for OMalley on the ground.
The referee warns Rosales that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

OMalley seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rosales does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

OMalley throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Rosales is trying to stand up here but OMalley is controlling him well.
Rosales is trying to control but can't.
Rosales trying to get back to full guard but OMalley takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
OMalley is landing with some decent strikes but Rosales is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Rosales is looking to get to half guard.
OMalley lands a big shot there that rocks Rosales but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Rosales tries to get back to half guard but can't.
OMalley controlling the position easily from mount.
OMalley manages to capitalize on a mistake by Rosales to take his back!
OMalley has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Rosales's body.
Rosales might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Rosales is trapped and OMalley is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Rosales is in bad spot here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
OMalley controlling the position well here. Rosales rolled but OMalley kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

OMalley scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
OMalley lands punches and elbows.
OMalley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
OMalley trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
OMalley keeps control of the position as Rosales tries to break free.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rosales is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

OMalley working for a choke but Rosales is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Conor OMalley dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Rosales throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and OMalley counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Rosales manages to escape and get back to his feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Rosales enables OMalley to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rosales manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Rosales is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and OMalley defends well.
OMalley trying to control but Rosales is working from the bottom.
Rosales looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rosales throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
OMalley has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Rosales is proving hard to escape from.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Rosales is looking to sweep but instead, OMalley has passed into half guard.
Rosales is looking to escape.
Rosales tries to roll over but OMalley keeps him under control.
OMalley looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Rosales is trying to get back to full guard.

OMalley is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Rosales is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
