The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martins on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Kantola tries to sprawl but Martins drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Martins really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kantola is controlling Martins's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Martins wants to take a breather but Kantola is having none of it.

Kantola lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Martins is looking to stand up but Kantola isn't so interested in that idea.
Kantola not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Kantola is looking to land a big knee to finish this one. He's got control of the head and as Martins tries to break Kantola's hands from around his neck, Kantola unloads with that fight ending knee, right up the middle! Oh man, that was nasty! Martins will need to get back to the training room and learn how to defend against the thai clinch! Oooh, his nose is a mess. Hopefully it's not broken.
