The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oriley stuffs the takedown.

Oriley wants to get back to his feet but Kaszpan is dominant here and he's now got Oriley's back!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Kaszpan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Oriley tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kaszpan is in Oriley's guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kaszpan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Oriley with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Kaszpan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Oriley keeps working.

Kaszpan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Oriley does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Oriley shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kaszpan as he jumps to the side.
Oriley leaves Kaszpan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Oriley got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kaszpan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Oriley has managed to get both his arms back between Kaszpan's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

and Oriley counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Kaszpan shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Oriley manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Oriley's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kaszpan under the eye.

Oriley throws a shot to the body.
Oriley lands with a slapping head kick.
Oriley throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Kaszpan goes for a double leg but Oriley avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Oriley continues to drive forward.
Oriley is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kaszpan can do to turn this around?

This has been an exciting period of action!

Oriley drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kaszpan pulls his leg out and moves away.
Oriley throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kaszpan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Oriley throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

That has opened up Kharif Kaszpan's cut even more.

Kaszpan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Oriley manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Kharif Kaszpan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well Oriley has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
