Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Elias Olsen (ranked 5988 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Cote (ranked 5943 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Olsen gets caught napping as Cote dives in and scores a takedown. Olsen manages to retain guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Cote wants to control from the top but Olsen keeps moving.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Olsen is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Cote pulls his head out easily.
Cote seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

That was a close second round but I would say that Elias Olsen will probably get the nod.

Well Cote has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
