Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gary Glenanagan!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Chris Dean and Darius Henderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weber looks to land a body kick but Glenanagan moved away.

Weber drives through and clinches with Glenanagan against the cage.

Weber pulls guard effortlessly.
Weber utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Glenanagan advances to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Weber is trying to get back to full guard.
Glenanagan trying to control from half guard but Weber is working away.
Weber wants to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Glenanagan is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Glenanagan wants to control but Weber is keeping him busy.

Glenanagan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Weber is trying to defend but Glenanagan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Glenanagan throwing shots but Weber is blocking nicely.
Glenanagan thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Weber's head.
Weber has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Glenanagan is working away from the top position though.

Glenanagan looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Weber is trying to stand up here but Glenanagan is controlling him well.
Glenanagan looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Glenanagan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Weber is just riding it out for now. Glenanagan eventually gives up the hold.
Glenanagan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Weber does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Weber is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Glenanagan pulls his head out easily.

Weber on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Weber tries to get out of the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gary Glenanagan dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Glenanagan moves into the clinch successfully.
Weber looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Glenanagan manages to pull guard.
Glenanagan is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Glenanagan is on top in guard.

Weber is trying to keep Glenanagan in close.

Weber wants to stand but Glenanagan is controlling the position.
Weber wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Glenanagan manages to pass to side control.
Glenanagan has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Glenanagan decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Glenanagan dives in and grabs Weber's left leg, looking for a takedown. Weber pushes down on Glenanagan's head and hops out.
Weber moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Weber misses with a hook. Glenanagan ducked under it nicely.

No luck for Glenanagan with that takedown attempt.
Dillon Weber has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gary Glenanagan.
Weber tries to close the distance and clinch up but Glenanagan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Glenanagan lands a front kick.

Weber tries to sprawl but Glenanagan drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Glenanagan is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Weber pushes Glenanagan off and gets back to his feet.
Weber shoots in and drives through. Glenanagan sprawls well.
Glenanagan fails with a takedown attempt.
Dillon Weber is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Weber counters by clinching up.

Glenanagan is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Weber is keeping busy.
Weber jumps guard but Glenanagan stands there with Weber around his waist. Weber gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Weber pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A head kick misses from Weber.

Weber moves into range and clinches up with Glenanagan.
Weber is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Glenanagan controlling the action here for a moment.

Glenanagan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

A left and a right from Weber both land. Nice combination.

Weber shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Glenanagan is looking for a sweep. Weber is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Glenanagan manages to get to full guard.
Glenanagan being controlled here, momentarily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dillon Weber dominated that second round.
That's time! Weber's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!



Glenanagan tries to sprawl but Weber drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Glenanagan has one foot on Weber's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Weber tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Glenanagan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Glenanagan is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Weber's half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Glenanagan wants to take a breather but Weber is having none of it.
Glenanagan has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Glenanagan avoids the attempt from Weber to control.

Weber blocking the ground and pound.
Weber wants to hold on but Glenanagan pushes him away.
Weber knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Glenanagan on the ground.
Weber holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Glenanagan tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Weber is trying desperately to improve position.
Glenanagan landing strikes from the mount and Weber is in trouble!

Glenanagan is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Glenanagan extends the arm and Weber is forced to tap!
