Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Columbo Gatti and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anton closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Raps to the mat! Raps manages to get full guard.
Anton tries to free his leg and advance position but Raps is retaining full guard.

Raps throws a hook but Anton avoids it easily.
Anton shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Raps's guard.

The referee asks Anton politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Anton prefers to stall for the moment though.

Anton is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Anton is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Raps has escaped the position, nice work there.

Raps knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Anton on the ground.

Anton is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Raps's shoulder. That is not cool.

Anton thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Raps is pushing Anton's head away, looking to escape. Anton manages to hold on to the position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dave Anton dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Raps changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Anton darts in trying to clinch
and Raps cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Anton misses with a takedown attempt
and Raps counters with a stiff right hand.
Anton tries to score a power double leg takedown but Raps sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Anton somewhat.

Anton goes for a double leg but Raps avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Raps continues to drive forward.
Hank Raps has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Anton.

Raps tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Anton manages to circle out of the way.
A punch lands to the side of Anton 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Hank Raps is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Anton tries for a takedown but Raps circles away easily
letting Raps counter with a right hand.
Anton closes the distance and clinches.
Raps has had enough of the clinch but Anton keeps him there for the moment.
Anton pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Anton jumps guard but Raps turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Anton breaks the clinch.
Anton scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Raps is looking to get back to is feet but Anton passes into side control.
Anton in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Anton works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Raps is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Anton is looking to take a break and control but Raps is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Raps tries to escape but Anton is in control.
Anton creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Raps is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Anton asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Anton tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Anton has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Raps is trying to stand and escape here. He's got onto all fours but that's just let Anton take his back! Uh oh - Anton has got a rear naked choke here! Raps is forced to tap! It's all over! One monent is all it takes in this sport!
