The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Pack checks it well.
Pack doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

Daniels is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Pack's half guard.
Pack is refusing to be controlled, as Daniels sits in half guard.
Pack is pressing down on Daniels's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Pack has a closed guard, preventing Daniels from standing up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pack is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Daniels defends well.
Pack looking to hit a scissor sweep but Daniels is one step ahead there.

Daniels wants to get up but he can't break Pack's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pack is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Daniels is controlling him.
Daniels looking to sit in guard and control but Pack gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Daniels can't keep his opponent in guard - Pack advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Pack in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Daniels tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Pack!
