Maa has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Jason Bloom has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jaa Maa's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Bloom. That snapped Maa's head back.
Bloom connects with a nice looking jab.
A jab from Bloom does it's job there.
Maa is breathing heavily.
Bloom scores with a jab to the body.
Bloom lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Maa circles away quickly and effectively.
Maa slips a jab and a cross from Bloom.

Bloom lands with a shot to the body.
Bloom looks to land a combination but Maa avoids it well.
Maa seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bloom scores with a jab. Maa acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

It looks like Jaa Maa has been cut.
Maa has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bloom finds it's way round the side to connect with Maa's head.

Bloom lands a nice looking body shot.
Oh Maa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bloom connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Bloom walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Maa drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Bloom swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Maa's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
