And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luke Thomas!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
It looked like Figgis wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Figgis throws out a loose jab but Thomas uses good head movement to avoid it.
Thomas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Figgis swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A little feinted left hand from Figgis on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Thomas wants to clinch
and Thomas takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Figgis keeps the fight on the outside.
Thomas is looking to clinch.
Figgis was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Figgis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Figgis circles away from the clinch attempt
and Figgis counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Thomas looks to land a combination but Figgis avoids it well.
Figgis lands a head shot.
Thomas wants to clinch.
Thomas tries to close the distance and clinch but Figgis swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Thomas tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Thomas tries to clinch there but Figgis circles away.

Thomas is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Thomas drops Figgis with a beautiful combination! Figgis stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Thomas is looking for the KO!

and Figgis counters with a left to the body.
Thomas moves in looking to clinch but Figgis pushes him off.
Thomas tries to clinch up.
Figgis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Thomas moves away.
Thomas tries to clinch but Figgis moves out of range.
Thomas tries to clinch there but Figgis circles away.
Figgis definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Thomas throws a combination that misses
and Figgis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.


It looks like Luke Thomas has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Thomas tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Thomas takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Thomas tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Figgis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Figgis connects with a nice looking jab.

The fight stays on the outside here - Thomas looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Thomas moves in looking to clinch but Figgis pushes him off.
Thomas tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Figgis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Thomas is rocked!
Figgis lands a brutal uppercut that launches Thomas off his feet! Thomas tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cyril Figgis!
A less than humble Cyril Figgis misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
Luke Thomas spoke after the fight, saying 'I can't believe that the Referee did not see this faggot son of a bitch rubbing my balls and caressing my anus while we were on the ground!!! What the hell is a man to do when he is being aroused in this way??? It makes fighting very hard to do! I'm contesting this loss!!!'.
