The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendrix displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Hendrix misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Hendrix moves into range and clinches up with Clegg.
Clegg jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hendrix walks away with a smile on his face. Clegg gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Clegg decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hendrix's guard.
Clegg postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Clegg trying to control the position from guard on top but Hendrix is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Clegg has eaten all the pies!
Clegg lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Clegg stands up over Hendrix, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Clegg advances to half guard.
Clegg working over Hendrix with some ground and pound. Hendrix looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Hendrix is staying active underneath Clegg, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Clegg is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Hendrix is hurt! He's hurt bad - Clegg fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Hendrix from any more punishment! Congratulations to Clegg! Great finish!
