Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Preston Mason (ranked 1060 p4p, 45 weight class) and Diego Carlitto (ranked 2507 p4p, 111 weight class). Carlitto has chosen Painkiller as his entrance music. Diego Carlitto acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mason misses with a hook. Carlitto ducked under it nicely.

Preston Mason dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Carlitto throws a shot to the body.
Carlitto tries to bum rush Mason with a series of wild strikes but Mason uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Mason is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Mason fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Carlitto avoids it really well and circles away.
Mason shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Carlitto as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Preston Mason. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Carlitto lands a left and a right that send Mason crashing to the mat, dazed. Carlitto thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Carlitto moves in close and cracks Mason with a massive right hand! Mason, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Carlitto!
