Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between King Mystery (ranked 5887 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zhang Tiequan (ranked 24792 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, King Mystery!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Zhang Tiequan!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Steve Erwin and Chris Dean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiequan tries to clinch up.
Tiequan takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Tiequan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mystery avoids it really well and circles away.
Mystery lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Tiequan shoots in looking for a takedown but Mystery manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tiequan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Mystery throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Tiequan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
King Mystery has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zhang Tiequan.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tiequan gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A hook to the body from Mystery.
Mystery with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Mystery is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Tiequan is defending well for now.

Tiequan wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Tiequan swings wildly with an uppercut but Mystery uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tiequan drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mystery pulls his leg out and moves away.
Mystery could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Mystery lets loose with a powerful body kick. Tiequan will feel that in the morning.
Mystery throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Mystery lands a nice shot to the body.
Tiequan takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

letting Tiequan counter with a right hand.
Mystery throws a sloppy head kick
and Mystery takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Tiequan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mystery stuffs the takedown.
Mystery throws the left hand but Tiequan avoids the punch easily.

Mystery defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tiequan.
A counter left hand to the body from Mystery misses its target.
Mystery lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tiequan circles away quickly and effectively.
Mystery misses with a straight left.
Mystery rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tiequan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Tiequan.
Mystery stalks Tiequan and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Tiequan's face. Tiequan staggers backwards, shaken.

Tiequan gets tackled into the cage by Mystery. Mystery maintains the clinch.
A short body shot lands from Mystery as the two fighters clinch.
Mystery scores with a hook to the body.
Knees to the body from Mystery.

Tiequan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mystery missing with a left hand there. Tiequan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A solid leg kick lands there for Mystery.
Tiequan fails with the takedown.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tiequan tries to close the distance and clinch but Mystery swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mystery is looking for a counter combo.
Mystery throws a jab but it's blocked by Tiequan.

Tiequan has closed the distance and engaged Mystery in a clinch.

Tiequan gets control of Mystery's arms and successfully pulls guard. Tiequan will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Tiequan is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Tiequan's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Mystery wants to get up but he can't break Tiequan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Mystery wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Tiequan's closed guard. He's half up but Tiequan has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Tiequan pivots and extends the arm, Mystery falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Tiequan! Well done that man!
