The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ollsen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Patrick is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Ollsen has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Patrick could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Patrick stops Ollsen from passing to mount.
Patrick tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Ollsen looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Patrick is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Patrick is not content to let Ollsen control the position.
