The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy misses with a jab, cross combination.

Guy gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Johnson stands and steps away. Guy gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Guy wants to stand and escape but Johnson is having none of it.

Johnson stands up from Guy's guard - Johnson perhaps looking for a knockout.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Guy enables Johnson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Guy manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Johnson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Johnson stands up and waves to Guy to follow him.

Johnson moves into the clinch successfully.

Guy is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Johnson gets control of Guy's arms and successfully pulls guard. Johnson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Johnson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Johnson stands up and beckons Guy to join him on the feet.

Guy is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Johnson scores with a couple of nice shots.
Guy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johnson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Johnson is looking for a kimura but Guy is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Johnson to get the leverage.

Johnson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Guy has hold of Johnson's hands but Johnson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
