Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lukas Svoboda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Cobra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Lukas Svoboda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Cobra!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cobra tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Svoboda swivels and escapes.

Cobra decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Svoboda is looking for a sweep. Cobra is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Svoboda is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Cobra pulls his head out easily.
Cobra tries to pass to full mount but Svoboda defends it.

Cobra wants to stand but Svoboda is controlling his posture from full guard.
Svoboda tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Cobra throws a strike but Svoboda rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Cobra manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Svoboda wants to improve his position but Cobra is controlling well.
Cobra is stalling here. Svoboda is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Cobra seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Svoboda has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Svoboda tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Svoboda has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Svoboda creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Cobra sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Svoboda working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Cobra is trying to improve his position.

Svoboda wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cobra, who protects the arm well.

Cobra throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Svoboda lands with a right hand.
Cobra tries to clinch but Svoboda is having none of it.

Nice straight punches there by Svoboda. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Svoboda.
Svoboda's corner calls for a 1-2. Svoboda obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Cobra is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cobra looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Svoboda bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Cobra! He dives into his guard looking to finish!


Cobra is rocked!


It looks like Max Cobra has been cut.

Svoboda drops back, looking for a kneebar! Cobra looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Cobra looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Cobra!
Svoboda manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Cobra is on the bottom, trying to hold on to half guard. He's throwing a few small shots here, to keep his opponent honest.

Svoboda wants to take a breather but Cobra is having none of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Svoboda takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cobra can do anything to dispel that myth.

Svoboda is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cobra defends it well.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Svoboda connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Cobra some visible discomfort.
Cobra takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Cobra is looking for a sweep.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Max Cobra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Svoboda throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Svoboda lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Svoboda is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Cobra moves away from the strike by Svoboda.
Cobra takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Svoboda throws out a loose jab but Cobra uses good head movement to avoid it.

Cobra takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Svoboda lands with a cross.
Svoboda paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Lukas Svoboda is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Svoboda feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Cobra sprawling to the canvas! Cobra rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Svoboda finish him?!

Svoboda scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Svoboda is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Cobra flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Cobra is out cold! Svoboda holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lukas Svoboda!
