Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luke Bando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jared Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bando fails with an attempt to clinch.

No joy there for Stone, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Bando throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Stone blocks it with crossed arms.
Bando goes for a takedown in the clinch but Stone prevents it.

Bando tightens his grip and picks Stone up, before dumping him to the ground. Stone manages to land in guard.

Bando gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Bando takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Stone scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bando doesn't seem bothered though.

Stone is pushing Bando's head away, looking to escape. Bando manages to hold on to the position though.

Bando shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Stone lands with an uppercut that bounces Bando off the cage and back into rage.

Bando shoots for a double leg takedown but Stone sprawls well. He's pushed Bando's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Stone lands with a straight right. Bando didn't see that one coming.
Stone dips to his left and cracks Bando with an uppercut!
Stone throws a series of strikes that have Bando backpedaling.

Bando forces Stone back against the cage and clinches.

Bando has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Stone is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Stone escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Stone stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Bando turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Bando manages to end up in side control.

Bando decides to stand up, so the ref orders Stone to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jared Stone is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bando moves in looking to clinch but Stone pushes him off.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Stone wanted to stand there but Bando had control of the position.

Bando has hold of Stone's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Stone manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
