PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Simon Morgan (ranked 5943 p4p, 0 weight class) and Levan Kvirkvelia (ranked 2827 p4p, 314 weight class). Morgan's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sherry Monocle. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 13 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Levan Kvirkvelia!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy body kick from Morgan
and Kvirkvelia cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Morgan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Morgan lands a body shot.
Morgan throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Kvirkvelia dives in and scores a takedown into Morgan's guard.

My spies in Gym inform me that Kvirkvelia has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

That was a close second round but I would say that Simon Morgan will probably get the nod.

I would just about give that final round to Levan Kvirkvelia.
I think Kvirkvelia has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The defeated Simon Morgan had this to say: 'hell of a fight. experienced alot in mma but after my contract expired, i decided my fighting life is over'.
