The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hullaby darts in and clinches Rush up against the cage.
Rush pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
An inside leg kick from Hullaby misses.
Rush could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rush accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hullaby tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rush paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Rush throws a low kick, looking for Hullaby's leg but Hullaby calmly moves out of range.
Hullaby on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Rush. Rush obviously looking to wear him down.

Rush wants to get back to striking at distance but Hullaby won't allow it.
Rush breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rush fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hullaby.
Rush tries to close the distance and clinch but Hullaby swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hullaby on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Rush scoring well with a low kick there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rush fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hullaby has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

enabling Rush to counter with a crisp jab.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rush, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
